BOYERTOWN — Filming on a new documentary that will feature parts of Boyertown’s biggest attractions began this week. On Tuesday, Voyage Digital Media, an independent New York production company, in conjunction with the National Maritime Historical Society, continued filming a documentary titled, “Sails over Ice and Seas.” Filming included shots of the inside of the Colebrookdale Railroad train’s parlor cars as well as area extras departing the train in early 1900s attire. (Philadelphia, PA) – The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission’s (DVRPC) Share-A-Ride ridematch service offers an easy way for commuters and employers to participate in a new vanpool incentive program, funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). The new statewide grant initiative, called the Pennsylvania Vanpool Incentive Program, or PVIP, provides an economic incentive to create new vanpools by subsidizing vanpool rider fees. The Phoenixville Area School District is joining the growing number of school districts that are implementing later start times, writes Sarah Hoover for Keystone Crossroads. Starting next year, high school and middle school classes in Phoenixville will begin 45 minutes later and elementary schools 35 minutes later.
