Phoenixville is trading its signature purple for the Blues in September, as the 7th Annual Phoenixville Blues Festival kicks off in Reeves Park!
Artists such as Sister Blue, who was once described as a singer whose “soul fights its way out and fills the room with well-seasoned wisdom and joy,” and Vanessa Collier, a vocalist and songwriter who has played alongside Annie Lennox and Willie Nelson, will take the stage at the Reeves Park Bandshell on September 10th for a day-long festival of good music and good food.
There is bench seating in the park, but lawn chairs and blankets are welcome!
Aside from an incredible show, money raised from the Phoenixville Blues Fest benefits local music organizations, as well as community non-profits. This year, funds raised will go to support the Phoenixville Area School District music and other civic programs.
If you can’t attend the event but still want to experience good food and good music, plan on attending the Blues Pre-Party, the event’s largest fundraiser.
