Phoenixville Community Health Foundation Seeking Champions of the Community

Phoenixville Community Health Foundation Seeking Champions of the Community

September 6, 2016 Phoenixville Community Health Foundation Seeking Champions of the Community

To Members of the Phoenixville Area Community:

I am pleased to once again announce the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation’s CHAMPIONS OF THE COMMUNITY AWARDS PROGRAM to recognize those that serve others in a way that contributes to the overall health of our community.

Some individuals are often overlooked because they are not widely known or associated with a well-established organization.  The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation will honor

the hard work, special achievements, and good deeds of these Phoenixville area “unsung heroes”.  The Foundation plans to give up to four CHAMPIONS OF THE COMMUNITY awards this year and will present these awards at a special luncheon. A grant of $2,000 will be awarded in their name, to qualified Phoenixville area charitable organizations of their choice.

The focus of this program is to:

▪   Honor adults, and youth, at the grassroots level who voluntarily give their time, talent, and resources absent of any personal gain.

▪   Recognize adults, and youth, who provide leadership in their neighborhood or ethnic community.

▪   Honor adults, and youth, who support those less fortunate or those facing insurmountable circumstances.

To those of you who know neighbors, friends or associates who would be a worthy candidate, I encourage you to nominate them.

I, along with all the Board of Directors of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, look forward to having the pleasure of congratulating those that have made an exceptional contribution to the health and well-being of our community.

With best wishes,

David Gautreau, Chair

Phoenixville Community Health Foundation
