Restore Chester County Business Task Force to Host Webinars on Tuesday to Help Restaurants Reopen

June 22, 2020

The Restore Chester County Business Task Force wants to help restaurant owners and managers. Whether their restaurants are closed, open for take-out only, has outdoor dining, or are in a borough planning an outdoor food court, the Task Force can help.

Bob Rafetto, formerly of the Dilworthtown Inn, has joined the Task Force’s Restaurant Working Group. Rafetto is volunteering his time to help restaurants with the information and insights to open quickly and safely to reach their maximum potential.

The Task Force is offering Zoom calls, led by Rafetto and a team of attorneys and municipal and business leaders:

  • For restaurants that are currently closed. Tuesday, June 23 from 10-11 AM. Click here to join. The meeting ID is 859 6694 0398 and password is 692864. Or: +1 929 436 2866.
  • For restaurants that are open and getting ready for indoor dining. Tuesday, June 23 from 1-2 PM. Click here to join. The meeting ID is 843 7064 0507 and password is 176835. Or: +1 929 436 2866.

The safety rules to reopen restaurants are in place. The Task Force will save owners and managers time and effort as it has collected the critical information for the webinars:

  • How to open safely – all restaurants must follow the rules or risk the consequences
  • How to get the materials (posters, rules) needed to open up – in one place
  • How to participate in the outdoor dining and extending dining areas
  • How to participate in borough-established outdoor dining in “beer garden” areas
  • How to access information from the state, county, and PRLA – for free
  • How to access information about loans or grants that may still be available.
