The Colebrookdale Railroad is excited to announce it will be resuming its award-winning passenger excursions beginning October 3rd. Despite the challenges of 2020, the Colebrookdale’s trains were rated the #2 Best Scenic Railroad in North America by USA Today and rated in the top 10% of attractions worldwide by TripAdvisor in 2020.
“While virus restrictions require the experience to be slightly different this year, passengers will still be able to enjoy one of the most magical experiences in our region,” said Nathaniel Guest, executive director of the railroad. “Our full al a carte menu of local fall and Christmas specialties will highlight each train, and some trains will have special wine and cheese tasting experiences on our dining car,” he said.
“Our foliage is second to none in Pennsylvania and the railroad is the coolest way to see it,” said Guest. The Railroad’s award-winning Santa’s Polar Bear Express Trains and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Trains are being re-worked this year to be both virus-conscious and kid-approved. Santa will be stationed on our open car where children can visit with him as well as give him their “wish list.” New this year, with our youngest riders in mind, we’ll be offering Santa’s Trolley; which will include a short trip in our Brill Motorcar to visit with Santa offsite at our Colebrookdale Village.
Tickets are on sale now and seating is extremely limited.
