WYOMISSING, PA –
In keeping with its support of the community, Tompkins VIST Bank’s Fox Chase Branch invited students from the Fox Chase Music School to provide background music at the bank’s 21st annual chamber mixer, held recently. As a result, about 50 people enjoyed a lively accompaniment to their mingling, thanks to the performance led by school president Michael Kraft on guitar. In appreciation, the bank presented the school with a donation.
Guests at the event included bank customers and representatives from the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the Rockledge Fox Chase Business Association and the Northeast Sunrisers Rotary club.
The mixer is a highlight of the year for branch manager Theresa Guldin, who is an enthusiastic supporter of the local business community. “Despite the dominance of email and social media, business people still recognize the importance of meeting face-to-face,” said Guldin. “The music really added a nice touch and allowed us to showcase our local Fox Chase Music School.”
