The superb spirits created by Chester County’s first craft spirit distillery will soon be available in Center City, writes Kenneth Hilario for the Philadelphia Business Journal. After only two years in operation, which includes working with large conglomerates like Pepsi and Nestlé, Phoenixville’s Bluebird Distilling is opening a retail location in Philadelphia’s center. Check out this awesome video in which Mary Dunbar of voxipop interviews Tom Carnevale, of Carnevale Eustis Architects, about the current state of the expansion of Phoenixville’s Colonial Theatre. Built in 1903, the venue will undergo an $8 million expansion and renovation. Its neighboring building, The National Bank of Phoenixville, was acquired in 2011 with the intent to provide two additional movie theatres and improved amenities for the Colonial.

According to LendEDU, which evaluated thousands of towns and cities across the country to determine which were the best places for pizza lovers, Phoenixville ranks 266 out of 500.
