Good Samaritan Services in Phoenixville has received a donation of more than $2,400 from employees of Benchmark Federal Credit Union who donated their personal funds to the charitable organization. Every Friday, Benchmark employees have the opportunity to wear jeans to work in exchange for a monthly donation to a local nonprofit. At the end of the year, the funds are donated. The Chester County Planning Commission launched a Landscapes3 photo contest to highlight the county’s greatest asset: people. The Planning Commission is seeking photos of people who live, work, visit, or play in Chester County. The photos can focus on people in several different settings, including businesses, homes, downtowns, public community events, and outdoors, among others.
