In November, the Philadelphia Inquirer we will be hosting its first-ever Inquirer Industry Icon Award event. A small group of honorees, selected by Gerry Lenfest and the editors of the Inquirer, will be inducted as “Industry Icons” into our Inquirer Business Hall of Fame. “Emerging Icons” – successful business leaders who have gone above and beyond to overcome obstacles, support their communities, and create jobs – will also be honored. This year the Schuylkill River Heritage Center is honoring Mary Foote, the Executive Director at the historic Colonial Theatre at its 7th Annual Heritage Award Celebration. She has been the theatre’s Executive Director since 1999, and the entire region has benefited from her leadership.
