photo courtesy Bluebird Distilling PHOENIXVILLE: The American Craft Spirits Association (a registered non-profit trade group representing the U.S. craft spirits industry) has awarded five medals to local distillery Bluebird Distilling at their annual awards event, held this year in Chicago. Of the five categories in which Bluebird competed, they received a medal in each one. PHOENIXVILLE: The Rebecca Lukens Award, presented by The National Iron & Steel Heritage Museum, will this year be awarded to Phoenixville’s own Barbara Cohen, of the Schuylkill River Heritage Center. The award, issued by The National Iron & Steel Heritage Museum since 2007, “honors individuals who exhibit the qualities of Rebecca Lukens — resilience, leadership, courage, and strategic outlook,” according to the Museum’s website. PHOENIXVILLE: Health Care Access of Phoenixville has achieved recognition by the Board of Immigration Appeals and EOIR (Executive Office of Immigration Review) to be able to provide legal assistance to immigrants with their status.
