PHOENIXVILLE: The Rebecca Lukens Award, presented by The National Iron & Steel Heritage Museum, will this year be awarded to Phoenixville’s own Barbara Cohen, of the Schuylkill River Heritage Center. The award, issued by The National Iron & Steel Heritage Museum since 2007, “honors individuals who exhibit the qualities of Rebecca Lukens — resilience, leadership, courage, and strategic outlook,” according to the Museum’s website. PHOENIXVILLE: Health Care Access of Phoenixville has achieved recognition by the Board of Immigration Appeals and EOIR (Executive Office of Immigration Review) to be able to provide legal assistance to immigrants with their status. PHOENIXVILLE: Chestnut Knoll at Home is providing caregivers the opportunity to experience, to at least some extent, the struggles of those dealing with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and similar disorders through an interactive program called Virtual Dementia Tour® created by Second Wind Dreams®.
