When the Springfield Sunday News-Leader featured historic movie houses across the country, they knew they had to add the Colonial Theatre to the list! Leif Petterson wrote, “The 658-seat Colonial opened in 1903, in a borough in Chester County 28 miles northwest of Philadelphia, as a venue for live shows and vaudeville. King of Prussia– Aqua Pennsylvania will close Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Whitehorse Road and Kleyona Avenue in Schuylkill Township, Chester County, starting Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for water main replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. The weekday closure will be in effect through Wednesday, Feb. 25.
